Privacy on this website.

What trainote.com collects when you visit, why it is collected, and how to stop it. This page covers the marketing website only. How the Trainote product handles trainer and client records is a separate and stricter matter, set out on Security and Trust.

What runs on this site

Three measurement tools. Each one answers how the site is used, not who you are. None of them run on staging or preview builds. They run on trainote.com and nowhere else.

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and referring sites. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.

Microsoft Clarity builds heatmaps and records playbacks of visits, so we can see where a page loses people. It sets cookies. Text typed into the page is masked before it leaves your browser.

Google Analytics 4 reports audience size, traffic sources, and which pages get read. It sets cookies. Google truncates IP addresses before storing them.

The early access form

The form on the home page stores your email address, so we can tell you when Trainote opens. Alongside it we store the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. That tells us which conference posts and emails actually reach trainers. We do not store your IP address or your browser fingerprint with it.

The list lives in our own PostgreSQL database, hosted by Supabase in Oregon, United States. It is not shared with, sold to, or rented by anyone. We use it for one thing: to email you about early access. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and asking at hello@trainote.com removes you and deletes the record.

What we do not collect

There is no account system and no login on this site. Apart from the early access form, nothing here asks who you are. We do not sell or rent what these tools collect, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, which handles ordinary request data such as IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and defend against abuse.

Email

Writing to hello@trainote.com sends us your address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply and to run the early access list. Ask and we delete it.

How to opt out

Any tracker blocker, or a browser set to reject third party cookies, stops Clarity and Google Analytics. Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft sets out its handling in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Questions

hello@trainote.com reaches a human. This page changes as the site does, and it will only ever state what is actually true.
